We are getting our first glimpse into a lavish new ultra-luxury high-rise condominium tower offering a ‘timeless architectural character,’ with renderings shared with Upper East Site revealing a warm living space within a multi-toned brick exterior.

The expertise, skill, and meticulous attention to detail behind 175 East 82nd Street sets it apart from all other buildings in the neighborhood,” said Steven Charno, President of Douglaston Development, the group constructing the 38-floor, 478-foot-tall tower, crafted by architecture and interior design firm CetraRuddy, and located on the northwest corner with Third Avenue in Yorkville.

Every detail was considered, refined and executed with real craftsmanship by an exceptional team carefully assembled to deliver the highest quality product possible.”
The building’s handsome facade features custom Endicott Desert Ironspot brick, a type of iron-laden clay, inspired by Art Deco architecture that’s seen across the Upper East.

Most bedrooms in the tower’s 73 residences feature warm wooden details and large windows overlooking the sweeping cityscape, while four penthouse residences offer coveted panoramic views of Central Park, with spacious living rooms ideal for celebrations accommodating numerous guests.

Penthouse buyers also receive private automated parking, located along East 82nd Street inside a sheltered porte-cochère extending from the building entrance over the driveway.

Amenities are located on the opulent tower’s 24th and 25th floors and include a columned outdoor terrace loggia, a 40-foot indoor pool and fitness center complete with dedicated yoga and Pilates studios, a sauna, a movie theater and a children’s playroom.

The ground floor features a pristine lobby anchored by a limestone colonnade, a sculptural stone reception desk, and a suspended chandelier, plus 3,000 square feet of retail space.

A controversial history follows the posh condo building after a construction worker was injured when unsecured equipment plummeted roughly 240 feet before striking him and breaking his hand in October 2025, Upper East Site previously reported.
Before that, residents of neighboring buildings complained that the building’s construction negatively affected their quality of life, causing power and gas outages.

While 175 East 82nd Street is still under construction, it’s slated for completion in fall 2027.
